If you get through the “gap”, the undulating fairway slopes upwards to the green, which is narrow and protected front-left and -right by bunkers.

Your approach is likely to need an extra club more than you would normally take to allow for the up-slope.

The green slopes front-to-back and is ridged all round, which tends to bring the ball back onto the putting surface.
