Now that you have clicked on to our ladies page, we would like to introduce ourselves to you.
Firstly, Puttenham is very easy to find - we are just a couple of minutes off the A3 and the A31 Hogs Back between Guildford and Farnham. The course dates from 1894 and is a mixture of woodland and heathland with many interesting holes. In the Surrey Hills it is always beautiful, changing with all the different seasons, and the course is playable throughout the year.
Our main competition day is Tuesday when the 1st tee is reserved for ladies only from 8.00 am until 11.00 am and at weekends ladies usually play their competitions on Sundays when they roll up at around 10.00 am. There are, however, other informal roll ups during the week and on Saturday mornings. At Puttenham we like to think that, whilst we are competitive, we have a very friendly and relaxed attitude to the way we play our golf and the ladies section has members of all ages and golfing abilities. We are also a very friendly and sociable bunch and on Tuesday lunch times the Clubhouse is always filled with ladies - some who have played in the competition and others who have just popped up for a bite to eat and a bit of a chat.
You will find a friendly welcome from both members and staff alike to make you feel at home and our Ladies changing facilities are spacious and very well equipped. Our PGA Professionals are always available to help with equipment and coaching lessons and our Bar and Catering staff will feed and refresh you after your golf.
