On Wednesday 11th May the 1st Normandy Beaver Scouts Group visited Puttenham Golf Club for a beginners coaching session put on by Dean Lintott and Oliver Harling.
It was the first time that Jez Phoenix (the scouts organiser) and his group had thought of doing a sports session for the kids and it proved to be a fantastic evening.
The 16 Beaver Scouts really enjoying their time at Puttenham and they all learnt a lot about golf and had fun trying out the activities that had been set up for them.
A big thank you goes to Dean and Ollie, and also to Sarah and Ollie Dyason for volunteering their time in the evening to help supervise the activities. It was very much appreciated by all the children and parents who attended.
