Here's a flavour of the benefits that you can expect as a Full Member at probably the Friendliest Golf Club in Surrey:
A Quality Golf Course
Established in 1894, this 6,220 yard par 71 course offers a challenging but most enjoyable round of golf amongst mature woodland and heathland set in picturesque foothills of the Hog’s Back. The sandy soil underfoot helps the course drain quickly in wet weather providing excellent playing conditions all year round. In spring the course is surrounded by bluebells and in early summer the azaleas and rhododendrons on the 12th and 13th in particular are a spectacle not to be missed.
Being a Members’ club rather than one owned by a company or individual means that the business is run by the members for the members with the clubs best interests at heart. All full members have a vote at any AGM/EGM to democratically put their opinions across. Puttenham Golf Club is a non-profit making organisation so any surplus is invested back into the club. No part of the club operation is franchised, therefore every pound you spend at Puttenham Golf Club whether it be on a set of clubs from the pro shop or a cup of tea in the lounge bar goes towards helping to keep your subscriptions costs down so please support the club wherever possible.
