About Us

The Course

Nestling in the picturesque foothills of the Hogs Back, the gently undulating 18-hole course at Puttenham is a mixture of heath and woodland. The tree-lined 6220 yard layout provides a wonderful test of golf and requires accurate tee shots and pin point approaches

Visitors are always made welcome at Puttenham Golf Club and many of our green fee and society visitors return on a regular basis as they have enjoyed both the course and friendly atmosphere in the Clubhouse so much. Green fee prices can be found on our Visitors page.

Welcome to Puttenham one of the oldest and finest golf clubs in the South East which was formed in 1894 by a group of Army Officers, Charterhouse School Masters and local businessmen. Whether it was a strategic military decision or just luck they chose well when deciding to build it on land that drained naturally. Puttenham is proud of its reputation as a one of the friendliest clubs in the south east. Our 18 hole tree lined course is both challenging and picturesque.
